Ward Building Cleaning Assignment

Our assigned period to clean the chapel goes from April through June 2026. Each family or individual has been assigned one weekend during this period for cleaning. Cleaning should be done either Friday evening or Saturday Morning. The first family listed is the lead family and should have a key to access the building – please coordinate with them for building access for your assigned date. There is a full list of tasks posted in the custodial closet. The custodial closet is located in the hall on the west side of the building. Please contact/coordinate with the lead family to get your assignment and time for opening the church for you. Please make sure the lights are off and building is locked when you’re done. If you cannot make your assigned date please coordinate with someone else in the Ward to trade your assignment.  Please let John Scheid know who you trade with so he can update the list. The full schedule for our cleaning period to assist in finding someone to trade with is posted in the building on the east side hallway across from the drinking fountain. If you cannot access the building, please contact a member of the Bishopric or John Scheid at (321) 368-1072. HERE

Lindon Temple Dedication

Dedication – Broadcast at our Stake Center Sunday May 3, 2026 at 11:00am and 2:00pm a Temple Recommend is required. If you need a recommend please contact Sam Murphy (720)935-8862 to make an appointment.

Heber City Utah North Stake

Dear Members,

The 1st Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has given approval for the Lindon Utah Temple to be dedicated on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 11:00 am, with a rebroadcast at 2:00 pm.  Members are welcome to attend one or both sessions.

As the Heber Valley will now be part of the Lindon Utah Temple district, our standard 2-hour meetings will be cancelled on May 3rd in order for members to participate in the broadcast of the temple dedication from the Heber North Stake Center, which will be treated as an extension of the house of the Lord that day.  The dedication will NOT be broadcast to the West Building or the Center Street Building.

All who attend either of the dedicatory sessions must be baptized members of the church with either a current temple recommend, a current Limited Use temple recommend, or a special temple dedication recommend for those ages 8-11.  If you already have a current temple recommend, please check the expiration date to be sure it remains valid beyond the May 3rd dedication date.  If you need to renew your temple recommend, obtain a new temple recommend, or obtain a temple dedication recommend, please speak with a member of your Bishopric well in advance of the dedication.

We encourage everyone to prepare for and attend the Lindon Utah Temple dedication on May 3, 2026. One important way to prepare is to attend the Lindon Utah Temple open house, which runs from March 12 – April 11, 2026.

Those who attend the dedication should be seated in the Stake Center at least 30 minutes before the start of the broadcast, dressed in their Sunday best.  Remember to bring a white handkerchief for participation in the Hosanna Shout.

Each broadcast will be available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and ASL.

These opportunities will bless you and your family as you strive to draw closer to Jesus Christ and will prepare us for the day, soon to arrive, when we will all finally participate in the open house and dedication of the Heber Valley temple.

With love,

President Paul Ritchie

President Dave Johnson

President Jasper Fauset
